Summary

This article provides instructions on how to import Diploma files to Blackboard Learn 9.1 and CourseSites. After exporting an Exam file or Chapter file to "Blackboard LS 7, 8, and 9", users will need to import the content to Blackboard Learn or Course Sites.

Blackboard Learn has import options for either uploading a pre-created test, survey, or pool. If the instructor exported from an Exam file, then that file is imported as a Test in Blackboard. Alternatively if you would like to upload all of the question bank content or certain chapters to Blackboard and then pull questions in Blackboard for future exams, tests, or quizzes you would import to a question Pool in Blackboard.

Troubleshooting:

Parse errors seen after importing to Blackboard frequently result from importing an Exam to a Pool or a Question Bank/Chapter to a Test in Blackboard. If you are getting a parse error, first check that you have exported out correctly to the "Blackboard LS 7, 8 and 9" format. Then try importing your file as a Test if you tried Pool before or vice versa.
