Steps to Repeat:
  1. Log into Blackboard Learn as Instructor 
  2. Create a merged course
  3. Create and enroll a student in the child course created in Step 2
  4. Create an Assignment in the master course > Make the assignment Available
  5. Log into Blackboard Learn as the student created in Step 3
  6. Navigate to My Institution page > Search for the child course created in Step 2
  7. Go to the Global Navigation menu (upper right corner) > Updates 

Observed Behavior:
Updates/Notifications that are present are from the master course.

Expected Behavior:
Updates/Notifications that are present are from the child course.
