Description:
Screen readers, particularly NVDA fail to recognize the ‘Three Dots’ sub-menu within the Ultra Base Navigation courses section when viewed in ‘Tile view’. 

This affects users who rely on screen readers for navigation and interaction.


 
Steps to Repeat:
Prerequisite: Download and activate NVDA from NV Access.
 
  1. Log into Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an instructor
  2. Go to the Navigation left menu, select Courses and switch to Tile view
  3. Move the cursor to the Search your courses box
  4. Use the Tab key to cycle through page elements
  5. Attempt to focus on the Three Dots sub-menu for course options


Observed Behavior:
The screen reader does not recognize the ‘Three Dots’ sub-menu for course options, not allowing users to access its options.

Expected Behavior:
The screen reader announces the sub-menu and allows users to access its options.
