Blackboard is pleased to announce the availability of Hotfix 212 for Analytics for Learn to address address issue, when attempts were re-evaluated after removing overwriting grade.  This hotfix applies to Analytics for Learn version(s) 4.3 through 4.3.5.

ISSUE RESOLVED

The A4L doesn’t properly covers the case when in the grade center an instructor removes overridden grade and select the choice to mark all attempts as needs grading. If the attempt is evaluated after such scenario, the A4L still considers the graded attempt as already deleted and leave out the date values from date/time related measures of the grade center fact.

By applicating the hotfix affected records will be properly evaluated.

HOTFIX PROCESS

  1. Execute the SQL hotfix file script in SQL Server Management Studio on the Analytics for Learn database (iBBLA).

After hotfix application you may see re-evaluated attempts affects the values for the first/last attempted date measures or average time to grade.
