Bulletin/Advisory Information: Blackboard Collaborate would like to take this time to inform you about end of support (EOS) for Internet Explorer 10 when using Collaborate with the Ultra experience.  As of July 1, 2016, we will no longer provide support for Internet Explorer 10 when using Collaborate with the Ultra experience.
 
Why is Blackboard Collaborate announcing end of support (EOS) status for IE 10?

Over time, we have assessed the impact of developing and testing releases with multiple browser versions that are only being used by a small percentage of clients. As a result, we will designate EOS for IE 10 when using Collaborate with the Ultra experience and focus all resources on the most recent released browsers, enabling us to more rapidly build and deliver a more robust offering and provide increased response times for issues when they occur.

After July 1, 2016 the following browsers will be supported:
  • Internet Explorer 11+
  • Microsoft Edge 26+
  • Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Safari

When will End Of Support (EOS) take effect?

Currently Internet Explorer 10 is operationally supported (we will continue to investigate and address serious issues).  Support for Internet Explorer 10 will be permanently discontinued on July 1, 2016.  We will not issue any additional patch releases or provide technical support services for clients using IE 10 after that date.
