Blackboard is pleased to announce the availability of the Blackboard Learn 9.1, 3900.2 Release (Build: 3900.2.0-rel.27+70f5845).

As a reminder, starting with the Learn 9.1 3900.0 release, the name has shifted from using the quarter/year as the name to a version number to align with the SaaS release model. There is also a new monthly release cadence for Learn 9.1 that includes bug fixes and feature improvements. You can choose any monthly 9.1 release and take improvements and bug fixes at any time. You do not have to wait until the next big twice-yearly release (Q2/Q4) to get an improvement you've been waiting for.  For more details behind this change, please see this blog post on the Community Site: https://community.blackboard.com/blogs/8/477.

Before applying the Cumulative Update, please take a system backup and make sure you have a backup plan in place. The installer is run at the command line, using Gradle, Maven, and an installer properties file. This also requires your system to be down for the upgrade/install. Further installation instructions can be found here.

• Managed Hosting clients may submit a case on Behind the Blackboard to schedule implementation of this release.
