LTI Tool Course Menu Links Are Unavailable in Mobile Apps

LTI integration placements as a tool type in course menus are not accessible in the Blackboard and Instructor apps. The links appear 'greyed-out' and do not function.

The same tool links work as expected in the apps when used inside a a content area. 



Resolution/Workaround:

As a workaround, LTI tool links can be provided from content areas instead of the course menu.

** UPDATE 7/17/2019 **

This issue was resolved by the Blackboard app 4.3.2 and Instructor app 2.8.2 updates released on 7/16/2019.
